The first of our Hertford Seminars series in London for 2019, chaired by Dr Tony Ballance, Severn Trent Water with contributions from Jason Mann of the FTI and Emily Clark, BT Group as well as Lewis Dale National Grid. The evening explored the use of markets versus planning in utility networks. And we focused a bit of attention on the role of independent system operators.

It was a thought provoking evening where as ever,  it was obvious that there is no obvious answer to the challenges these sectors face.

You can read the speech from Emily Clark on the BT website here.
